LELAND FAULKNER is always searching for the joy, magic, and fun in theatre. His 30 year career is crafted from the mime’s physicality, the actor’s imagination, and the magician’s love of illusion. He has worked with storytellers, actors, opera singers, magicians, clowns, mimes, musicians, universities, and theatre companies to develop a wide range of original productions touring to international theatre and circus festivals in Hong Kong, Russia, China, Canada, the U.S., and Japan. He is the former owner and director of the Celebration Barn Theater. Leland is also an award winning film maker and digital media producer.
As a young theater artist he apprenticed with master mime artist Tony Montanaro, and became his touring partner for three years. Another of his mentors was the world famous, and revered, magician John Calvert whom he performed with in Las Vegas and New York City. He continues to develop new work, most notably Walker Between Worlds, and Dreamcatcher, Native American story based performances that have received accolades.
