Elizabeth Bolick
Liz is an accomplished mime, clown, variety entertainer, juggler, puppeteer, make-up artist, designer and therapeutic Clown Doctor. She has produced, directed, written, and performed hundreds of shows all over the world in every venue imaginable including Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center for the Arts, Carnegie Hall, The Metropolitan Opera, La Mama, Art Park, NY International Clown Theater Festival, International Clown Festivals in China and Japan, at The Cape Playhouse, The Dupont Theater, The Palace Theater, The Brooklyn Children’s Museum, hundreds of schools, libraries and corporate events.
Liz worked as “Dr. Sneakers” for over 30 years with The Big Apple Circus Clown Care Unit where she received the prestigious Raul Wallenberg Humanitarian Award for her work with critically ill children. Other credits include Healthy Humor, The Super Scientific Circus, Paul Newman’s’ Hole in the Wall Gang Camp and The Grand Falloons at The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and her newest, original show The Flip Flop Circus. Liz has also brought her extraordinary Face Painting expertise to events all over the world training art students in her unique style. Currently Liz is a Teaching Artist with The New Victory Theater developing curriculum for schools based on the shows touring that stage.
Liz also recently began her 100th career as an Audio Transcriber with Circus Omnium, The Big Apple Circus and the Signature Theater describing live shows for blind audiences with Carl Tramon. Then, in all her spare time she produces and designs special events with her own company Miz Liz Events.
