Co-Founder/Artistic Directors of the award winning ADAPTORS Company, Kari Margolis and Tony Brown, have been committed to the creation of original theatre, and the exploration of the actor's CRAFT for four decades. They have created seventeen evening-length productions touring throughout the United States and internationally. Margolis writes and directs. Brown creates original compositions and multimedia. Both artists often perform. 

Kari Margolis - Over the last 38 years, Kari has developed an in-depth approach to theatre training and creation (Margolis Method) merging the skills of the actor, director and playwright. She is Master Teacher at the Margolis Method Center International located in Highland Lake, NY. Kari travels extensively with her international workshops, and is a keynote speaker, published playwright and author. 

Tony Brown - Tony has received numerous accolades for his performances, and has created sound scores for commercials and multimedia for performance companies.  

Their work has been recognized with Six National Endowment for the Arts Fellowships, a “Bessie” NY Performance Award, a Pew/TCG National Artist Fellowship, multiple McKnight and Bush Foundation Fellowships, and a Creative Capital National Artist Fellowship among other awards.
